Skaneateles Summer Theatre Presents :

The Music Man

Performances: August 5, 6, 7, 2010

 Skaneateles Summer Theatre's annual musical is open to adults and high school students age 16 and up. This summer's production also has roles for children ages 11 through 15.
The time commitment varies with the type and size of role.

 Auditions for high school age and adult roles will be held Sunday, June 13th at the Skaneateles High School Auditorium. 2 p.m. - 5 p.m.

 Auditions for child roles will be held on Saturday, June 12th at the Skaneateles High School Auditorium 1 p.m. - 3 p.m.

FootlightKidz $75

Maximum Enrollment - 20 per session

AM Session June 28-July 9th (no camp July 5th) 9 am - 10:30 am
PM Session June 28-July 9th (no camp July 5th) 1 pm - 2:30 pm

Children's theater camp for children entering 1st through 2nd grade. Held at Skaneateles High School. Children will learn singing, dancing, acting and theater arts during the two week period. The camp will culminate in a musical production. Contact Janet Kringer -

SpotlightKidz $125
 Maximum Enrollment - 35 per session

Children's theater camp for children entering 3rd through 5th grade. Held at Skaneateles High School. Children will learn singing, dancing, acting and theater arts during the two week period. The camp will culminate in a musical production. Contact Janet Kringer -

StageKidz $200
July 6th-July16th 9:00 am - 3:00 pm
Maximum Enrollment - 46 children

Theater camp for students entering 6th through 9th grade. Held at Skaneateles High School. Students will be led in acting, singing, dancing and stagecraft activities, while preparing a full-fledged musical production. Students will participate in acting - involvement in hands-on activities in acting technique, including theater games, improvisation vocal and physical exercises. Music- voice training, basic technique and theory skills, along with group singing. Stagecraft - imaginative scenery and costumes for final the production. Dance - fun activities in creative movement, dance styles and choreography. Contact Mary Jo Clary -
